Role Overview:As an Accountant (R2R) at Caterpillar Inc., you will be part of the Global Financial Services Division - GLBL BusSvcs RTR Team based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be to perform Record To Report (RTR) activities for Global entities following standard processes. Your role is crucial in maintaining financial records, creating insightful financial reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Additionally, you may be involved in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.- Create reports on financial performance and provide insightful analysis for internal and external use.- Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.- Implement and adhere to internal controls while ensuring accounting procedures comply with GAAP.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent with 3-4 years of experience.- Professional Certification from CA/CMA institute/US CPA/CMA preferred.- 2-3 years of relevant experience in captive accounting service centers or large corporates with Manufacturing & Service nature of business.- Proficiency in handling multiple ERPs and varied accounting tools.- Basic data analytical skills and interpretation of results.- Understanding of accounting/business issues.- Flexibility to work in multiple shift timings (APAC, EAME, US).- Ability to work a 5-day week schedule in the office.Additional Company Details:Caterpillar offers a supportive work environment that values work-life harmony with earned and medical leave.
