JOB DESCRIPTION (GEET) Advanced Analyst Global Compliance and Reporting is an integrated suite of Tax and Accounting services that EY provides to our multinational clients. GCR offers the ease of managing compliance & regulatory filings by: Taking care of the complexity of regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions Centrally managing the global compliance and reporting activities Controlling the cost of managing compliance across various countries Each client is referred to as an engagement and the GCS team is responsible for ensuring the delivery as per the service level agreements. Globally, tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. A central team (GCS) works with this global network of EY professionals to ensure clients compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time. The GCS team project manages the engagement and together with the client facing teams in Americas, EMEIA and APAC forms the service management office for the client. The GEET Team supports the GCR transformation. This team is based in Bangalore and have global support base, supporting the Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) sub-service line and within the Tax vertical in EY. This is a centralized team of tool experts and coordinators who strive to provide consistent & quality service through extensive growth focus. Job purpose: Structure: Understand the functioning of the engagement tools and client ERP systems involved in global service delivery Liase between EY teams and clients to provide the information. Working with engagement teams & clients to assist in questionnaire designing and reporting. Coordinate projects and monitor delivery of multiple tasks against deadlines Understand the EY teams data requirements and fulfill their data needs. Work on documenting the process in a structured manner Period reporting on the data collection activities to the EY Central teams Work on process improvements and automation. Working knowledge of account reconciliations, reviewing TB and posting entries into accounting systems Technical skills requirements: We are looking for candidates with the following: Bachelors or Masters degree, in any discipline with strong affinity towards IT tools and technologies. Experience in working in a multi-cultural and team environment Have effective communication skills - both written and oral. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and structured thinking abilities Demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills Demonstrate an eye for detail Able to demonstrate business acumen and to be able to identify and challenge inefficiencies Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs Be proficient in Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Visio - working knowledge of MS office. Proficient in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Essbase, Sabrix etc, Knowledge on SQL & SNOW will be an advantage. ,
