Job Description

Candidate is expected to identify analytical use cases, size opportunities & support transformation initiatives with data analytics working with a cross-functional team of Finance Ops, Transformation leads, Reporting & Analytics. Knowledge of SQL, Teradata and exposure to advance analytics tools such as R/Python are desirable.Role & Responsibilities:

  • In this role, candidate is expected to identify analytical use cases, size opportunities & support transformation initiatives with data analytics working with a cross-functional team of Finance Ops, Transformation leads, Reporting & Analytics.
  • Share/Present analysis/insights & identified business rules to business teams to influence the change. Create & make presentations to explain problems, approach, and solution and progress report to partners.
  • Deliver Optimum Analytical Solutions using data, business context, tools & techniques along with relevant cost benefit analysis
Required:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in executing analytical solutions preferably in financial service (such as account payable, credit risk, fraud, receivable analytics, etc.)
  • Analytical skills & Problem Solving Ability with excellent understanding of Statistical Concepts & Tools
  • Expertise in Teradata SQL
  • Exposure to advanced analytics tools (R/Python) and techniques
  • Strong presentation & communication skills
  • Ability to deliver clear & concise presentations with proper story line to (senior) management regarding complex analytics;
  • Being self-reliant and capable of both independent work and as member of a team
  • Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement;
  • Expertise in identifying and implementing business process automation (RPA,OCR etc) is advantage
  • MBA or equivalent degree
