Fosters teamwork and collaboration within and across work groups. Experience in storytelling with data. Experience in practicing the principles of dashboard design experience with programming/scripting, statistical analysis, database, ETL and data mining and blending techniquesKey Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of monitoring modules to replace Nimsoft / Sciencelogic monitoring with Zabbix
  • Administration and managing Zabbix and tools
  • Configuration management using Saltstack/Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Jenkins etc.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Class Operating Systems (Windows 2012 R2 or above, ESXi, RHEL, SLES)
  • Monitoring tools Zabbix, Grafana, Nimsoft monitoring, Nagios (Secondary)
  • Scripting languages Python, Ruby, Perl, Shell, Powershell.
  • Should be ready to work in 24/7 environment.
  • Configuration of alerts and modification of thresholds based on the requirement
  • Co-ordination with teams for resolving issues pertaining to Infrastructure components (servers, Storage and Network components) reporting issues to Nimsoft / Zabbix
  • Validating the Infrastructure components to be monitored using zabbix / Nimsoft
  • Knowledge on Incident, Problem, Service Requests and Change management
  • Removal of obsolete infrastructure components from Monitoring Instance
Essential Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills, Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with Saltstack or another configuration management tool is a big plus. (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
  • Strong scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience with Zabbix or another monitoring tool.
