    Advisory Software EngineerYour Role and ResponsibilitiesWho you are:Cloud Pak System can be placed in a data center to dispense applications andtopologies into a pool or cloud of virtualized hardware, and to manage theseresources. Cloud Pak System manages the people, places, and things in your cloud-computing environment. Cloud computing is a computing paradigm in which data andservices are located in data centers. The data and services can then be accessed fromany connected devices over the Internet. Applications can use the cloud for addedvalue, such as storage, queuing, and hosted applications. The applications themselvescan also be hosted on thecloud.Using Cloud Pak System, you can work with the following topology resources in yourcloud: Cloud groups Networks Storage IP groupsWhat youll do:The Cloud Developer is a key role in the growing and dynamic IBM Cloud organization.As a developer for Cloud Pak System(CPS) product, you will be focused ondevelopment and support of the storage component of CPS and interfacing withproduct management, development teams across locations, and end users, to solvecomplex problems. You may have leadership responsibility of tracking work for 1 ormore people and giving them technical direction.You will be part of a strong, modern team culture driven to create world-classdevelopment and deployment environments, delivering an industry leading userexperience for our customers. Working out of a modern office in the heart of the city,you will be valued for your contributions in a rapidly growing organization withdynamic opportunities. Each day, you will attend daily team scrums and projectmeetings to make important contributions in the development and architecture ofautomated solutions to continue building and optimizing our cloud and deploymentinfrastructure.Required Technical and Professional Expertise8 -13 years of IT experience.Practical working experience with Java, PythonExperience with cloud computing technologies such as Kubernetes/OpenShift,Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes/Docker Deployment.Experience using version control systems like Git.Experience in Automated & Continuous Delivery -- ability to write /define unittests, automated build, test, runPreferred Technical and Professional Experience8 -13 years of IT experience. Expert indelivering code for system level programming/ Cloud projects. Strong programming experience in GoLang/C programming/Java Development. Hands on experience working onKVM and System Programming in Linux orOCP Experience in Docker /Kubernetes programming.Preferred Education Masters Degree
