Job Description

    *Within the Agile Transformation Office in Industrial Automation Business / Innovation and technology organization, the Agile Transformation Senior Coach is responsible for coaching and mentoring Scrum Masters, RTEs, Product Owners, Development Team, Testing Team and enabler functions to leverage agile principles, practices and frameworks in order to deliver high value business capabilities. You will serve as a subject matter expert on introducing agile and scaling agile practices across the Line of Business of Industrial Automation. You will embrace servant leadership and display behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being agile. You will constantly identify opportunities for operational, technical and people practice related improvements.You will have two main missions:
    1. Act as Agile Coach for our critical projects by bringing your strong expertise and leadership (50%-70% of your time)
    2. Support the execution of the Agile transformation program by participating (even leading) in some transformation workstreams (30%-50% of your time)
    Responsibilities & Deliverables
    • Coach the teams of Industrial Automation Projects to successfully adapt, embrace and excel in Agile practices and frameworks.
    • Work closely with the Industrial Automation Agile Transformation Leader to implement the continuous improvement actions in line with the overall transformation charter and execute the initiatives of the transformation backlog.
    • Implement transformational changes in Value Stream, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile systems & tools, People & Leadership, and Engineering Excellence.
    • Implement practices such as CI/CD, Code quality improvement, modularization of architecture, incremental releases, TDD/BDD, test automation etc. in teams.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert to instill a culture of agile based delivery.
    • Be a change agent in promoting change management and communicate frequently to all levels of the organization.
    • Assess the Agile maturity of the team(s) and coach them to move to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable, and aligned to the Industrial Automation transformation charter.
    • Facilitate and deliver workshops on Agile practices, frameworks and methodologies
    • Coach teams to remove roadblocks and impediments to change and delivery.
    • Proactively collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to address Agile knowledge gaps to support Agile effectiveness.
    • Be abreast with the latest trends of agile in the Industry and recommend improvements to the Leader of Agile transformation on an ongoing basis.
    Direct and enhance organizational improvements by positively influencing and supporting change management initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility, *
    • 15+ overall years of Professional Experience
    • 3+ years of experience as an Agile Coach helping teams efficiently deliver software/hardware and system products
    • 4+ years of Scrum Master and/or SAFe experience
    • 5+ years of diverse technical software/hardware/system development experience, playing at least two distinct roles such as QA, Developer, Product or Project Management.
    • University degree or Engineering school degree
    • English, Communication & teamwork skills, Project & functional Management
    • Desirable certifications: PSM II, SPC, IC Agile Coach (ACC/CAT/ENT).
    • Expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP.
    • Working knowledge of DevSecOps and agile lifecycle automation tools.
    • Expertise in training and coaching large product development teams.
    • Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, iObeya.
