Our investment philosophy and process are built around one core concept: empower experts in each sector of the market to deliver their best ideas in the context of a holistically constructed portfolio. Portfolios are driven by diverse sources of alpha, including both top down and bottom up analysis, and portfolio construction is integral to our process.Responsibilities and QualificationsThe portfolio construction specialist will be an integral part of the Fixed Income team. She / he / they will work closely with portfolio managers and traders on investment teams, client portfolio managers, cross-sector research, risk management and other portfolio construction specialists in order to facilitate the ongoing construction of portfolios and contribute to achieving our clients goals. Role Responsibilities:

• Work with portfolios managers to help implement current top-down investment views across accounts with varying objectives and constraints
• Create and maintain a robust process to evaluate portfolio characteristics (e.g. beta, carry, curve positioning) and account consistency; perform analyses on trade-offs and make recommendations to portfolio managers
• Employ and further develop optimization processes to facilitate optimal portfolio construction
• Monitor portfolio attribution on a regular basis and do deep dives as needed
• Develop analytics and help to design new tools that support portfolio construction, including user testing of new tools and ensuring data integrity of existing tools
• Perform topical analyses and special projects as market opportunities arise
• Prepare materials for portfolio construction focused discussions

Qualifications and Preferred Skillset:

• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent required.
• Very good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confident and outgoing, having the ability to work across the platform with individuals of different skillsets, backgrounds and levels of seniority.
• Curious individual with strong critical thinking skills who enjoys problem-solving
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as thrive within a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience in Fixed Income markets strongly preferred. Knowledge of a range of fixed income asset classes is ideal.
