Job Description

The GRO (Global Revenue Operations) team are a multi-cultural, diverse service team, with customer focus, dedication, agility and expertise in the field of revenue recognition & order entry. The team is an integral cog in Dell EMC s Order-to-Cash cycle with extensive knowledge in the processes & systems, relentlessly focusing on execution, quality and efficienciesKey Responsibilities

  • Reviews, manages, and reports status of all sales orders/opportunities within assigned territory
  • Acts as the corporate order management* liaison among sales, legal, revenue accounting, credit, allocations, manufacturing and the professional service organizations.
  • Ensuring transactions are completed in accordance with DellEMC revenue recognition standards (SEC compliance)
  • Completes required SOX controls and activities on needed cadence
  • Provides training and guidance to other teams members, customers and support organizations around policy and procedures within the GRO team
  • Develop subject mater expertise within specific area*
  • Understanding of the order to cash process including supporting system and process .
  • Revenue recognition fundamentals and an ability to apply them to transactions.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal customers and cross functional internal departments in order to manage information and the timely resolution of issues
  • Ability to articulate the current status of orders/opps and the action plan to ensure orders are processed for assigned territory/region.
  • Demonstrates fundamentals of professional behavior including accountability and an appropriate sense of urgency
