The Financial Analyst should have knowledge and hands on experience to play the following role: Monitor and analyze and report out business performance , financial results and other KPIs which define the business Work with other teams / team members to improve processes and robustness Ensure 100% accuracy and 100% timely deliverables Understand the data sources and architecture and work towards self problem - solving in case of errors or challenges and work with team members and others to seek help as a next step Be a go - to point for all data needs for the business Help with changes in reports and other modifications including conducting adhoc analysis and reports building as per business needs Understand the pulse of the business and contribute to ideation and execution of projects / analysis Communicate effectively with stakeholders on any challenges or updates Pursues self - development and effective relationships with others by organizing resources and information; openly sharing information , advice , and expertise with coworkers and customers; influencing others through technical explanations and examples; seeking performance feedback; adapting to and learning from change , difficulties , and feedback Be a team player , by stepping in to business problems which may not be associated with the main business to which he / she may be aligned to Qualification Any graduate or post - graduate (preferably with a degree in Finance) 2 - 6 years of experience Experience in prior reporting role desired Strong data collection , collation and cleansing skills Strong independent ownership and drive to make sure projects / deliverables are not missed Strong sense of accuracy and passion for doing things right Strong communication skills Strong knowledge of advanced MS Excel / MS Office Knowledge of Macros / VBA and other automation techniques Knowledge of SQL / other visualization tools desired,
