Cleartrip is looking for passionate folks to be a part of our in - house Android application development team. Description The individual must be self motivated , an excellent problem solver and a fast learner. Very strong technical skills and demonstrated passion for writing quality , maintainable code is a must. Candidate should be a strong team player and should have excellent communication skills. The candidate will work with engineers across verticals in a fast paced , technically demanding environment to deliver new features on the Cleartrip Android app. Desired Skills / Qualification Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in developing Android applications. Strong knowledge of Java and Android architecture with good understanding of Android best practices. Strong grasp of software fundamentals and design patterns such as MVVM / MVP , Observers , Singletons etc and experience using libraries such as RxJava Hands on knowledge in Kotlin is a plus Strong object - oriented programming and design skills. Experience developing apps driven by JSON web services. Strong understanding of UI layout optimizations and ability to develop complex UI. Experience writing multi - threaded , asynchronous code with in - depth knowledge in one or more of networking libraries like Okhttp , Retrofit etc. Strong debugging , performance testing and profiling skills using Android Studio tools Hands on knowledge of working and deploying applications (apk) using continuous integration tools like Jenkins , TeamCity , Go etc Hands on knowledge of automated UI and unit testing is a plus,
