As a Android lead you will be responsible for architect, design, implement, review, and deployment activities of mobile applications. You would manage Android developers team while defining their responsibilities for the projects and making sure that the products are delivered without any technical issues. You will be defining industry best practices, new initiatives as an additional KRA.Experience with Android Platform(intents, services, threading, activity, fragments, etc).Experience with source code management techniques using Git.Familiarity with industry standard design patterns for most commonly encountered situations is a must.A solid understanding of operating system fundamentals such as processes, inter-process communication, multi-threading primitives, race conditions and deadlocks.Good knowledge of multithreading, process optimisation, system resource planning in native Android.Strong understanding and experience in Android development along with good knowledge with the Android SDK and with the Android Tools framework.Strong knowledge of OO designs, database design, data structures and algorithms.Experience on multimedia platform applications (music and video applications) will have added advantage.Experience in New Architecture component MVVM with Live Data and Data binding.Experience in streaming in Exoplayer.Experience in Push Notifications.Memory, performance and cache management.Experience in integrating ThirdParty libraries.Offline online data syncing.Experience using Web Services and Data parsing using JSON , XML etc.Good to have application development using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 would be a plus.Experience with SQL on any of the RDBMS Oracle, PostgreSQL, My SQL , Maria DB.ORM frameworks Hibernate/iBatis, JDBC, JPA.Web Services development SOAP, REST.Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is good to have.Appium experience would be added advantage.
