Instruct or facilitate training for new hires, carry out ongoing skill development initiatives, to improve the creative and technical quality of character animation as well as the productivity of the animation team.Curriculum development, Scheduling Training programs to facilitate the various training initiatives.Constant up-gradation of training content, managing training schedules.Creating presentations, demonstration material and training resources per requisition.Conducting Film appreciation sessions, explaining the importance of Animatic,story boarding and other aspects of Animation production.Assist in testing and selection of trainees and their post-training evaluation .Prepare short project specific training to speed up production on ongoing/yet to start projects along with Supervisor/Animation Director.Skills / Knowledge:Passion for Movies, various styles of Art forms and expressions, training and knowledge sharing.5 years plus experience in an Animation / VFX production studio with specific emphasis on character animation in various styles.Minimum 2 years experience as a Key-Frame animator (Classical Animation)Good working knowledge of Maya - Animation and rigging tools.Very good drawing skills.Strong fundamental knowledge of animation and camera fundamentals.Interest in storytelling.Proven expertise in training or training content development would be a plus .Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong classroom personality.Educational qualification:Degree or Diploma in Fine Art or equivalent.,
