Job Description

    CRO Manager for Global Technical Development YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :- Support planning and coordination of the external technical development activities in Global Technical Development, e.g.:- Support the selection of suitable service providers- Planning and coordination of timelines, - Support ordering and financial management of the external projects - In coordination with Technical Project Leads and other Technical Development stakeholders, develop and optimize workflows for the externalization of technical development activities together with R&D procurement, IT, P2P, finance - Responsibility for cost tracking / cost control of the external projects - Act as Global Technical Development interface to R&D procurement for 3rd party service activities- Vendor relationship management and performance tracking- Proactively identify and lead evaluation of potential new partners, focusing on both the existing and future technologies/needs of Technical Development.- Partner with Quality and HSE to ensure 3rd parties are appropriately audited and qualified to perform contracted work.- Leader of the CRO Management team for Global Technical Development WHO YOU ARE :- MSc., Engineer or PhD (preferred) in a scientific discipline (e.g. chemistry, (bio)pharmacy, etc.) with strong background in (bio)pharmaceutical development- Specialist knowledge and preferably several years experience of (veterinary) pharmaceutical development with a curiosity and willingness to develop in new areas- Preferably several years experience of externalizing (veterinary) (bio)pharmaceutical development activities and collaborating with external partners (CROs, CDMOs, etc.)- Proven ability to collaborate with and to integrate different internal stakeholders e.g. technical development scientists, R&D procurement, finance, P2P etc. in the context of outsourcing- Organizational and personnel leadership skills - High ability to solve problems and to structure and simplify complex tasks- Very good communication and presentation skills (fluent in English, German is a plus),
