The Application Analyst (AA) for Implementation Services is primarily responsible for discoveryand application configuration for all IT solutions. This includes all business and productlines currently supported by the company. The AA will be responsible for all: 1) Analysis, 2)Adhering to the project scope as defined in the SOW, 3) Application Configuration for allcustomers and coordination with all related departments for customer satisfaction; 4) Workclosely with all members within Company, 5) In conjunction with the project scope as defined inthe SOW, will create and test all templates required for the business application to ensure bestpractices are defined and implemented; and 6) Coordinate all full cycle testing to ensure themost optimal application configuration. All of the AA responsibilities will be done within thedefined scope utilizing cost management skills to ensure projects are completed on time andwithin budget. The AA will also assist with special projects and work requests as required. Essential Functions: Assist in system design and analysis meetings to clearly define project objectivesConfigure application to meet design specifications of the SOWMaintain competency on all enterprise M Modal solutions by personal and scheduledtrainingProperly develop templates based on analysis and best practicesEnsure testing of all configured units and applications and correction of any identifiedissuesAdhere to defined standards and best practicesRequirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of all IT solutions and related applicationsUnderstanding of personal computers being utilized in a network environmentKnowledgeable in the healthcare dictation and transcription industryAbility to assist in technical and operational issues related to implementationAbility to provide application phone supportExcellent knowledge of MS WordExcellent knowledge of MS ExcelUnderstanding of basic interface requirements and procedures relating to templatesExperience with interfaces in a healthcare environment is required. Knowledge of TCP/ IP and socket communications, database management, programmingbackground, NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Novell (a plus), MS SQL server, Oracle, DOS, NT scripting or Microsoft host scripting, VB scripting, PERL (a plus), Visual Basic or VisualC++ (a plus) and the HL7 protocol. Knowledge of: Medical Transcription Service Industry (preferred)HL7 protocol (preferred)TCP/ IP and socket communications (preferred)Basic database management (preferred)DOS and NT or MS host scripting (preferred)VB Scripting (preferred)MS Visio (preferred)NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Novell (a plus)SQL (preferred)PERL, Visual Basic and/ or Visual C++ (a plus).,
