Job Description

We are looking for a software engineer who has excellent knowledge in designing and building applications. Proficient in at least one OO languages such as Python, Java, C# . You will work as part of a global team in a fast paced, agile development environment, to design, code and support a regulatory reporting system based on JPMorgans risk, pricing and trade management Athena platform. Candidates who are passionate about writing quality code, enjoy facing off multiple CIB business units (including Front, Middle, Back offices and Regulatory Control teams) are invited to apply.

  • Strong technologist with experience in OO design.
  • Experience in one or more OO languages such as Python, Java, C#, preferably Python.
  • Good to have knowledge of a relational database language such as SQL Vertiga.
  • Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Previous experience with Athena for internal candidate is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of trading, settlement of financial products is desirable. Experience with regulatory reporting is desirable but not essential.
  • Good communication skills as well as ability to explain technical issues to non tech users are expected.
