COMSOL India is seeking an Applications Engineer with a specialty in Acoustics to join its Bangalore office. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in acoustics modeling, wave propagation in fluids and solids, piezoelectric devices, surface acoustic waves, non-linear acoustics, aeroacoustics, or thermoacoustics is desirable, as well as any experience in multiphysics analysis.Primary ResponsibilitiesInteract with researchers and engineers to understand needs and provide relevant solutions based on the COMSOL product suite.Independently identify and create an action plan to enable customer fulfillment.Interact with COMSOL users to ensure achievement of customer business goals.Create industry relevant proof of concept models.Conduct training courses to help existing and new customers with COMSOL usage.Problem solving and analytical skillsWilling to work with customers on a daily basisStrong presentation skills, both in-person and on-lineStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong technical skills in numerical analysis, physics, and COMSOL Multiphysics modelingWillingness to travel occasionally COMSOL OffersA challenging opportunity to expand your knowledge in a wide variety of physics application areas and to work on problems spanning all engineering fields.Highly creative and qualified teams with a diversity of experience.Great career opportunities at a quickly growing high-tech software company.
