Job Description

    *We are currently seeking a Lead Design Verification and Validation Test Engineer to join our R&D department reporting to the Functional Manager,Design Verification & Testing. Create complex test methods and procedures to evaluate power electronic products. Responsible for a complete function with in a Large project. Manage a team of Engineers of group 3 to 6 Engineers. Essential Functions: To Work closely with the design team and lead DVT plan generation and schedule for multiple programs. To Create test plan. Estimation of the test time. Determines test requirements for each design elements To mentor verification engineers on testing procedure & setupsTo coordinate new/external test plan generation & support/analyse/simulate quality issues To Perform, review the test, and verify performance as per the specification, implicit industry standards, and APC design standards tests.To Design and fabricate the test fixtures to suit test methods. Debug, identify root cause and provide input to Design teamDrive Project team activities, work and resource prioritization, accountability for the teams, set work goals for the functional teams.Estimate and manage the work effort for the team in interaction and coordination with the other stake holders Document and present and manage all the communications for projects with all the stakeholdersManage conflicts within the project teams and other stake holdersTake calculated Risks, Demonstrate creativity and contribute to IP Provide proactive assistance and help junior members Should be adaptable to change & contribute on change ManagementSupport and deploy Management initiativesLead Quality System development , *Bachelors in Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation engineering. 8 -10Yrs of Experience.1. Knowledge of test equipments, CRO, AC Source, DC Source, Auto transformers, Multimeters, Data loggers, 2. Good understanding of power electronic equipments 3. Good understanding of analog and digital circuits, power electronics circuits. 4. capable of running independent tests 5. Exposure to EMI testing and Test labs 6. Exposure to safety testing equipments. 7. Good command to MS office packages 8. Hands on Python and LabView
