Global Finance & Business Management ( GF&BM ) India is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan s global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm s capital. GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main pillars of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions. The current opening is within the Internal Control and Program Management team Internal Control and Reporting in Bangalore which forms part of the AWM LOB within GF&BM India. About the Team AWM Finance and Business Management is responsible for financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting, strategy, capital stress, business management and internal control on a global basis. The Internal Control & Program Management (IC & PM) team is part of AWM Finance and Business Management and is responsible for several control initiatives and works closely with many support functions across AWM. The AWM Internal Control and Reporting function supports AWM globally to ensure requirements are met for various regulatory and non-regulatory reports that are required on behalf of the AWM Controller and/or AWM senior executives, while maintaining a sound control environment. The team regularly engages with partners across Finance, Control Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Corporate as well as peers in other lines of business. About the Role/ Role Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated Vice President to lead AWM s Internal Control & Reporting team, a part of the broader Internal Control & Program Management ( IC&PM ) team that sits within the AWM F&BM organization.The successful candidate is a leader who thinks holistically, is extremely motivated, able to successfully multi-task and lead all initiatives from conception to completion, and exudes an executive presence. This individual will work to support the AWM IC&PM Director, AWM F&BM stakeholders and collaborate across multi-functional business areas to meet business results while exploring solutions to meet the needs of clients and customersThe ideal candidate is a structured, highly-organized individual who can flexibly adapt to a fast paced environment, has superior analytical skills, has demonstrated themselves as an effective and influential communicator, and can navigate across a broad organization in a matrixed environment.Job Responsibilities
    • Drive overall management team governance and priorities tracking
    • Lead coordination of AWM Risk Identification activities: facilitate quarterly review of risks, consolidate/analyze inventory for completion, prepare presentation materials, present results to CRO, CFO and Controller, maintain LOB procedures
    • Lead and develop materials to support AWM s Quarterly Earnings Representation Letter and Control Affirmation process to multi-level management and functional business areas
    • Manage the consolidation and submission of various daily, monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory/non-regulatory reports for AWM Finance ensuring that data is accurate, complete and controls are in place and consistently executed
    • Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand priorities and drive next steps
    • Manage strategic initiatives around automation and identify areas for process improvement
    Desired Candidate Profile:
        • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related area; professional qualification such as CA, CPA or ACCA preferred although not required
        • 10-12 years experience in financial services industry preferably with financial or regulatory reporting
        • Strong interpersonal skills and able to effectively collaborate within global teams and influencing key stakeholders
        • Experience managing projects that require strong analytical skills, problem-solving and critical thinking
        • Strategic thinker who can partner with diverse teams to drive efficiency and process enhancements
        • Executive presence; ability to summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior management
        • Work autonomously to affect change; flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
        • Knowledge of automated software such as Python, Tableau, Xceptor and/or Alteryx a plus
