Job Description

    Job SummaryAs a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm s business objectives.Job Responsibilities
    • Participate in design and develop scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner using Java to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams
    • Design, write, comment and unit test code to confirm software modules are of the highest quality
    • Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team
    • Handle critical and time sensitive concurrent tasks with supervision and properly escalate situations as appropriate
    • Write test cases, leverage unit and integration testing, develop functionality and automation
    • Maintain technical acumen by pursuing formal and informal learning opportunities about technology, JPMorgan Chase products, and financial services
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, to improve delivery flow across product and technology
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Bachelors or Masters Degree - preferably in Computer Science
    • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on programming/application development experience utilizing JAVA/J2EE,Spring Boot, REST, Micro Services, Cloud Native, Agile, CI/CD and TDD.
    • Excellent Core JAVA (Java8 Features) skills having deep experience in OOAD, Threads & Concurrency and Collections
    • Strong experience in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
    • Strong object oriented analysis and design skills (OOAD)
    • Strong experience in Apache Kafka,NoSQL & RDBMS Distributed Database
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
    • Exposure to cloud technologies preferably AWS / Cloudfoundry
