Job Description

    POSITIONAR Pre-auth SpecialistREPORTS TOPre-auth AR Specialist will report to his/her team leader.JOB OVERVIEWJob responsibilities include:
    • Initiate pre-auth request through Call/Web portal/Fax.
    • Follow-up made on the respective days set by the Client.
    • Maintaining up-to-date data in KT and Spreadsheet.
    • Calling insurance for any pended/rejected auth request to ensure we are getting the requests approved.
    • Responding back to office with the approval letter which ever we are getting it through portal.
    • Uploading Auth Approval letter in KT on timely manner.
    JOB DESCRIPTION
    • The primary task is to initiate auth request on timely manner.
    • The process involves Call, Fax and Portal navigation.
    • Must be efficient in managing the accuracy and productivity based on the TAT(turn around time) set by the organization.
    • He/She must show the willingness to learn new things.
    • Must be able to work in a team environment.
    • Must discuss every matter with the supervisor or team leader to get any issue sorted.
    • Giving a resolution to each auth request assigned should be their whole and sole responsibility, unless escalated/Completed.
    • Must efficiently set goals and work, so to maintain highest level of quality while providing service to the clients.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Any Degree with minimum of 1(or) 2yr of experience in Voice process/Pre-auth Specialist.
    • Should be willing to work at night shift without cab.
    • Basic Excel knowledge and strong writing and oral communication skills.
    • Preference will be given to healthcare BPO professionals with experience in voice processes, good typing and interpersonal skills, along with a good overall performance track record.
    • Must be willing to take on additional job.
