  • In this role, you have the opportunity toYou are a part ofPhilips Computed Tomography and Advanced Molecular Imaging (CT/AMI) transforms patient care by providing low dose molecular and hybrid imaging solutions that enhance the detectability of lesions and allow users to share diagnostic information virtually, anytime, anywhere.The Host platform is owned out of PIC, Bangalore and is the Software Power House for CT/AMI R&D. With 100+ strong engineers spread across Project Management, System Engineering, Software Architecture, Development and V&V, the team is growing further in a big way to support the delivery commitments to our strong Roadmap and Product Pipeline. The team works collaboratively with global sites at Cleveland in USA, Haifa in Israel and Shenyang, Suzhou in China.2020 is aimed to be a very exciting year of progress and growth for CT business where in we have lined up host of releases such as Refresh, Hawk, Oceanus, Harpoon to name a few. The team is poised to start the development of Next generation console, intended to replace the current portfolio in the next few years.As we build strong teams for successfully delivering to these multiple programs, we are expanding and strengthening our Leadership team. We have excellent opportunities for energetic, passionate and bright minds to come join us to build a strong career in technical leadership and support us in realizing our visionResponsible for ensuring consistency in high-level SW design flow-down into detailed design, code and unit/module/integration testing and represent CT HOST in Road-map forums across CT / AMI BIU You are responsible for Represents CT HOST in Roadmap forums across CT / AMI BIUParticipates in establishing long term directions for software technologies and methodologies including tools to be used during design/development phaseParticipates in defining the HOST SW architecture and technology roadmapOwns HOST SSDS and associated external and internal interfacesResponsible for ensuring consistency in high-level SW design flow-down into detailed design, code and unit/module/integration testingTechnical contact for implementation of external & internal interfacesResponsible for providing estimation for new projectsReviewer of detailed design and critical defect fixesSupport risk management, feature integration, sub-system verification and defect management activities. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience Min. of 5 years of increasing responsibility in software architecture for complex hardware platforms, preferably medical devices.Strong knowledge of software development and design in object oriented methodologies, architectural & design patterns and Microsoft Technologies (.NET, communication technologies like WCF, MQ) Additional exposure to Expert Systems like CLIPS, DROOLS, etc. will be preferred.Strong leadership, communication and influencing skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and is able to think quickly and adeptly about how to address issues/problemsB.E in Computer Science or M.E in Medical Software / Imaging Technologies / Software Engineering12+ years of software development experienceAt least 5 years of experience in requirements analysis and translation into software architecture and design preferably in Imaging Systems products.
