Job Description

This is a new role to HPE s Supply Chain Management Planning organization residing in Bangalore, India. This position will be responsible for setting up a world-class innovation a lab to ideate and transform the supply chain. Develop a think tank and develop bold, transformative ideas to position HPE supply chain. Develop digital twin to mimic existing systems for e2e integration and testing of new ideas. Work on the control tower initiatives. This role will be key in driving the organization through data-based recommendations/actions to achieve better results in all metrics related to Demand, Supply, and Inventory Management and cost.Defines high-impact, long-term supply chain architecture strategies at the global, regional and operational level. Develops recommendations based on benchmarking, financial results and statistical data. Communicates strategic direction to the organizationResponsibilities:

  • Establish a lab to ideate and transform the supply chain. Develop a think tank and develop bold, transformative ideas to position HPE supply chain.
  • Develop digital twin to mimic existing systems for e2e integration and testing of new ideas. Work on the control tower initiatives.
  • Manages strategic supply chain models which translate physical and financial flows into business processes, implementing product and services supply chains into the companys business systems. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement across the supply chain. Partners with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies and new business opportunities.
  • Independently structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies by applying advanced, in- depth supply chain and industry knowledge.
  • Interprets data to create new processes, strategies, and tools to be used for supply chain business objectives.
  • Leads large, cross- functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance.
  • Owns complex strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.
  • Consults with business executives on a wide range of high-level supply chain issues, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
  • Creates new frameworks for delivery and contributes to tools, templates, and intellectual capital.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelors degree OR Masters in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Requires 15+ years of experience in a supply chain function.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to network and build relationships across complex global businesses
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage systems and data to quickly assess the business to improve results
  • SAP IBP Systems experience preferred
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change
  • Demonstrated ability to tell the story in presentations leveraging visual mgmt. tools and data
  • Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage complex financial analysis and modeling.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Advanced team and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently.
  • Excellent business acumen, technical knowledge within multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications, technologies, and emerging industry trends.
  • Drives business insights and the associated actions for the HPE Planning Organization supporting the Demand, Supply, and Inventory Management teams in the Planning Organization.
  • PowerBI experience preferred
