Responsible for helping drive technicaloutcomes and managing large team of junior employees that perform within settechnical guidelines and standard operating procedures Use advanced technical expertise to execute work product / tactical and some strategic planning Interact regularly with management withinthe department and staff across BPG/ Functional process. Influence clientexpectations and provide appropriate alternatives / suggestions andrecommendations for innovative improvements Management responsibilities: Set goals, offerfeedback, source developmental opportunities and provide long- term careerguidance to counselees and others across the department Integrate new teammembers. Bring team members and their ideas together. Connect counselees tothe people, resources, and opportunities to help further their career goalsand development. Conduct necessarydue diligence and preparation for formal performance developmentconversations. Regularly engage withcounselees and those they work with to help them continuously improve. Responsible for planning for staffing ad hoc needs, such asunanticipated requests or changes to scope of projects Education - B.E./ B.Tech Years of Experience - 10 - 12 years Technical Experience Extensiveoperational experience in managing teams supporting various Enterprise ClassSolutions and services including Storage (EMC, HP 3 PAR, Pure storage) CiscoSAN Fabric and iSCSI, Veritas NetBackup, Data Domain, Enterprise Tape anddisk based back- up infrastructure, VERITAS Volume Manager, EMC PowerPath, Multi- pathing configuration, and Fail- Over, Replication. Prior experience with server hardware and operating systems.In depth knowledge with Cisco UCS, HP and Dell server offerings and configurations. Server operating systems including Windows2003 to current versions, Solaris 9- 10 and RHEL. Prior experience leadingsoftware engineers to develop software and perform development work. Strongunderstanding of SDLC, agile methodologies. Great deal of experience with virtualization technologiesVMware ESX including both Server and Desktop hosting, Citrix/ Xen App/ XenServer/ Xen Desktop, VMware View, related VDI technologies including sessionbrokers Working knowledge of IaaS cloud offerings form Azure, AWS, Google, Iaas/ Pass & Advance services. Ability to manage change andeffectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams forsmoother execution. This includes ensuring deliverables are prepared tosatisfy project requirements and deliverables. Ability to delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projectsend to end Strong verbal/ written communicationskills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levelsof responsibility and authority. Must be able to prioritize, delegateand foster the development of high performance teams to lead/ support anenvironment driven by customer service and team work. Strongtrouble- shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projectssimultaneously. Ability to participate in resource planning processesbased on defined organizational plans.
