The role will also include responsibilities as set out below pertaining to the Banks payment systems. Primary responsibility of this role is to do the health check of server and day to day operations and monitoring activities as per checklist to ensure the 100% availability of the server and application to users. User profile management Backup monitoring and troubleshooting Troubleshooting of any system and application related issues. Ensuring all daily tasks as per the checklist Ex. Day start & End Performing the application related activities like year end, month end etc. Patch Management, HMC, Journal Management, Thenon, Replication Management, Performing DR, Role swap, Save and Restore Tape management, SAN checks Maintaining printers on the AS400 Dealing with hardware and software problems Dealing with the payment applications and payments in - out Under take tasks under the guidance of senior Administrator with in the group on projects. Identify ideas to improve system performance and user experience. BE / B. Tech / MCA / MSc Computer Science/Science Graduate Excellent spoken and written communication skill Ability to communicate at all levels Ability to work in shifts. Experience Details 4 - 5 Years experience of AS400 Support is essential. Experience in handing critical incidents, RCA etc. Good knowledge on BRMS, HMC , Journaling, AJS, Tape management, CL400, VIOS & SAN Knowledge Requirements Desirable to have worked in a financial services background
