Throughout the industry there is mounting pressure on organizations to do more, requiring a clear technology strategy that not only addresses the demands of today, but also enables the growth and performance of tomorrow.What you bring:2+ years of AS400 development expertiseExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent problem-solving, team and time management skillsResourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideasWhat you will be doing: Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.Will be involved in Implementation and Conversion projects for the Horizon core banking product.Experience in Data Conversions from multiple sources (Flat Files, CSV, ASCII, etc.) to AS400Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.Maintains, tests and integrates application components.Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing codeEnsures system improvements are successfully implemented.Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry.Analyzes requirements and translates business requirements into product designs.Writes technical specifications and other forms of documentation.Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems.Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent
  • ITIL v3 Foundation or higher desirable

  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
  • Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation
  • Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
  • Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
