Job Description

    I. Job Description
    • Specialist in Product Assembly Process
    • Ensuring the Product Assembly feasibility.
    • To design & provide assembly & manufacturing lines with process flow, instructions, tools
    • Prepares Manufacturing Process Specification document as key deliverable within PMP process
    • Approves designs to ensure manufacturability capability (approval criteria includes geometry, material specification, surface finish, assembly, test & adjustment)
    • Influences the designs to optimize the manufacturing process and minimize manufacturing cost and investment.
    • Conducts risk analysis as it relates to design and process alternatives and the impact to product cost, schedule, and project cost
    • Contributes strongly to the Continuous Improvement actions for the Process & Equipment. Bring his/her technical expertise within local industrialization team or local manufacturing Engineering team.
    • Select, Validate, Introduce & Standardize New Assy technologies/processes locally.
    • Development of New Layouts , Vendor Support functions, Lean Mfg , Value Stream Approach, Cost reductions, Execution of New Projects, New factory, System development, Infrastructure development
    • Specifying, Implementing & Qualifying the Manufacturing Process & Equipment in compliance with SPS Principles.
