Job Description

We are looking for an experienced operations professional to work in the reporting team within AM Operations, India. Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the preparation of daily, monthly, and quarterly summary reports for key Americas/EMEA/Asia regulators, exchanges and other stakeholders (internal/externa).
  • Rotation of job responsibilities within the team to ensure effective training of self and others.
  • Develop solid working relationship with many other areas of the firm including front office, technology, legal, compliance and ops team.
  • Proactively work with operations and IT teams to develop expertise in new reports and document existing regulatory reporting process and controls performed within operations division.
  • Work to help centralize relevant regulatory reporting activities across operations, demonstrating willingness to learn and perform task
  • Take ownership and provide feedback on new reports, creating checklist, and resolving exceptions
  • Manage training and handover of production responsibilities including BCP arrangements and oversight control
  • Support strategic business initiatives and assist with integration into the team.
Experience/Skills/System requirements:Experience with regulatory reporting, particularly from an operations perspective will be greatly valued.Required: skills and personal attributes include:
  • An understanding of financial products (FI, currency, SWAPs, and/or Equities products)
  • Ability to set own priorities and work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good organizational and time mgmt. skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in fast passed environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various operations team and tech team
  • Strong inclination to process improvements
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good computer skills Excel, Access, power-point, word etc.
