To monitor retail compliances (labour, establishment and safety) across all retail stores of Pantaloons pan India and legal metrology licenses for products sold in stores, advise business on mitigation of risks arising out of non-compliances, train the retail operations team in retail compliances, work closely with cross functions to provide all the support to ensure statutory compliances at retail stores including brand related signage, GST no display, etc.Retail compliances are mandatory even before the start of the business.Non maintenance of retain compliances before the store opening and during the store operations can lead to disruption in business and prosecution of directors of the company.The role extends to pan India compliance operations for entire PT retail business.The laws vary from state to state and from units.In the fast changing regulatory environment, it s indeed a challenge to keep up with the latest developments in statutory compliance and ensure implementation of the same. The number of retail stores is high and increases rapidly year on year.To manage a slew of statutory compliances year on year across all the stores including their mode of display is an ongoing activity fraught with practical challenges.(i) Maintain data base of retail compliances of all 260 plus stores brand wise, state wise and store wise(ii) Conduct periodic audits and take corrective actions(iii) Automate compliance processes(iv) Train the store staff in retail compliances and legal metrology compliancePrincipal Accountabilities:1.Advisory service and support services to cross functional teams :Monitor status of licensesMaintain data base of compliancesAdvise corrective actions from time to timeAdvice change in laws from time to time2.
