Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job Purpose: To assist the Site Head of Hyderabad and also monitor / track site level initiatives and compliancesKey Responsibilities: Serve as Project Manager for tracking progress of infrastructure projects Prepare planning documents and drive the development of detailed plans, including topline deliverables, interim milestones, incremental steps, and dependencies, as well as resource and budget requirements Ensure effective Co-ordination with project related vendors and supervising works relating to fit out projects Holding review meetings with vendors at regular intervals on progress and escalating the delays, quality and safety issues, etc. Participation in meetings and ground level co-ordination with stakeholders Verification and certification of bills and sending mails Visiting government and regulatory offices for interaction and submission of reports, etc Ensure right level of control through effective use of governance frameworks and established escalation mechanisms Ensure timely and transparent sharing of information including appropriate dashboards and status updates; regular updates and periodic presentations to the senior management for the entire portfolio of all infrastructure projects Compliances project, labor law, contractor licenses, etc. Proactive risk-identification, escalation and mitigation; enable resolution of issues in a timely manner Build and maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders Ensure systematic closure of activities as needed Analyze data to pick patterns towards enabling continuous improvement Liaise with technical stakeholders, finance, admin, strategic sourcing, E&M, strategic sourcing, EHSS and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects Co-ordinate with environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace All other works as assigned by the senior management as needed to manage site operations Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted companyEducational Qualification: BE/BTech, preferably with PMP or equivalent certificationTechnical/functional Skills: Should have engineering training along with project management training Proficient in project management knowledge areas Proficient in project management software and Gantt Chart preparation Comfortable with data analysis using MS Excel Comfortable with presentations using MS PowerPoint Comfortable with collaboration platforms such as MS Team Knowledge of operations, process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies will be a plus Possess the knowledge and exposure to safe work practicesExperience: An experience of minimum 6 years in relevant field.Behavioral Skills: A team player, relational personality with patience and understanding Displays and practices positive attitude towards a difficult situation and be empathetic Excellent communication skills Displays and practices honesty, integrity and professionalismEqual Opportunity Employer: It is the policy of Syngene to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable legislation or local law.
