Job Title: Associate Consultant, RecruitingRole: Individual ContributorUnder general supervision (may work independently most of the time), sources, interviews and recommends placement of candidates for positions across junior and managerial level. Works closely with internal partners to develop job specifications, recommend hiring approaches and coordinate business unit interviews.Engage and timely connect with clients, for hiring forecast and supportConduct market mapping for the target skill, sources, interviews and recommends placement of candidates to managers.Works closely with hiring managers to develop job specifications and coordinates business unit interviews.Sources candidates utilizing the Internet, employee referrals, manager referrals, candidate referrals, advertising, job fairs, college recruiting, and general inquiries/unsolicited resumes for current openings and to build candidate pipelines.Screens resumes and applications to evaluate the qualifications of applications and identifies potential candidates for employment.Communicates job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules, and working conditions to applicants.Sells Northern Trust as an employer of choice to candidates and assists in equipping managers to do likewise.Advises a candidate on Northern Trust s hiring policies, practices and procedures.Negotiates salaries and relocation packages with qualified applicants and educates managers on these issues.Maintains relationships with different recruiting partners including college campuses.May handle other types of recruitment analysis and propose appropriate action.May work on assigned projectsA College or University degree and/or some relevant human resources work experience for a financial services environment is required. Related Industry qualification (e.g. SHRM) / or studying towards, is preferred May be technically sound in some area of expertise and limited knowledge of other areas.Should have at least 5-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, in financial services domain.Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions with limited direction.Requires good analytical ability, excellent oral and written communication skills and solid judgment.Solid consulting skills and experienced in client servicing and relationship building.Strong systems skills, particularly with recruitment systems.Good understanding of compensation policies and practices.,
