You will be part of a fast-paced, future focused, collaborative team. On any day of the week you might provide guidance on the operational risks involved in a recent JPMC merger, acquisition, or new product development, design an advanced technology solution built with machine learning to drive process improvement, or proactively identify and assess high profile issues of utmost importance to C-suite level committees.The Performance Improvements (PI) practice is a central advisory team responsible for strategic process improvements through design and implementation of tools, data analytics and machine learning to strengthen business controls and eliminate manual processes.As part of the Performance Improvements team, you will join a group of professionals responsible for solving complex operational challenges, transforming business models/processes, introducing automation/improving efficiency, and identifying digital opportunities. The scope of PI responsibilities/capabilities encompasses Operating Model Re-design activities, Process Re-engineering, Operational Improvements. Duties :
    • Perform requirement gathering, analysis, design, development and implementation of new workflow needs
    • Partner with business, product owner and key stakeholders to deliver creative solutions providing business value, efficiency & process improvements
    • Design and implement workflows using Java, JSON, Javascript and REST APIs
    • Modify existing software to fix bugs, adapt to new platforms and environments, and improve its performance
    • Collaborate with the other teams to deliver integrated solutions with a focus on Client experience
    • Design and implement features and applications using object-oriented software
    • Follow Agile development methodologies
    • Develop User Interface using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
    • Communicate with team members and other teams to understand specific workflow requirements
    • Provide technical guidance and support for the development and troubleshooting of workflows
    • Document workflow specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Technology, Engineering (any), Mathematics, or related field plus 3+ years of experience in Application Development, or related experience
    • 3+ years relevant experience financial services industry or background in financial technology
    Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Java, JSON, Javascript and REST APIs to create and support workflows
    • Confluence, Alteryx, and Siganvio experience as well as any kind of Workflow Implementation experience using BPMN or other tools is a big plus.
    • Business process re-engineering and analysis experience:
      • Challenging the status quo, current processes and tools to find the most efficient solution possible
      • Ability to look through to the root cause of issues and assist with efforts to define creative solutions
      • Ability to define technology requirements and partner with technology teams to build intuitive, user friendly tools to support the operating model
