Job Description

  • This role will be part of the Bangalore team which is responsible for processing all corporate actions and stock transfers for our global business.
  • This team was recently formed to expand our capability to process corporate actions events. The teams in Bangalore work with corporate action teams in the UK Australia.
  • This role is within the Corporate Action team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for doing all administrative tasks related to Stock Transfers.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure the accurate and timely processing of Stock Transfer cases assigned to them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of all Corporate Action events -both Mandatory and Voluntary within IG systems.
  • Sending Client emails describing corporate action events and election choice.
  • Collation of Client instructions
  • Preparation of Client Bookings
  • Posting of Client Dividends, across product ranges in different IG systems
  • Synthetic Dividend reconciliation
  • Handling client queries and queries from helpdesk
  • Processing of Stock Transfers
  • Update of IG internal systems accurately

Required Skills

  • 0-2 years of working experience in Corporate Action or Stock Transfers
  • Basic understanding of various Corporate Action events and Stock Transfers
  • Familiarity with the risks associated with corporate action events including client money
  • Due to manual nature of the process, attention to detail is mandatory
  • Ability to work with a great deal of attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Should be able to go beyond the roles and responsibility and should be able to help
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Self-starting, enthusiastic team-player who will be willing and able to help colleagues at peak-times
  • Deadline / delivery conscious and flexible to changing priorities.
