This team become a key part of an aligned, productive and quality focused global group working together across our Medical Affairs organization. The team will be based in Healthcares R&D center in Bangalore near Electronic City.Our one team philosophy underpins our vision; through expertise and trusted partnership be the industry leading lighthouse for scientific exchange to enhance patient care for better and longer lives.We re seeking senior scientific communications leaders to help lead this exciting new undertaking with responsibilities covering both the development of operations and delivery of scientific content. In the role you will

  • Lead writing teams to develop:
    • strategically aligned, high-quality, accurate, and compliant medical content that meets internal and, most importantly, external objectives
    • content for differing project types and writing styles (including Medical Communications, Publications, Information, and Education)
    • the highest quality work through critical review and high-quality feedback to reports and colleagues
  • Support scientific strategy development and apply this where appropriate to all written materials
  • Support internal meetings with Global colleagues
  • Ensure appropriate workload balancing across teams, and that productivity targets are met
  • Analyse and document existing processes and workflows, compare to industry standards, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations/options for implementation of efficiency projects
Who you are:You have:
  • 10 + years professional experience in an international Pharma/Biotech/agency setting
  • Proven track record of successful leadership of scientific writing teams
  • Advanced university degree in science, medicine or another related subject, preferably with a PhD
  • Therapeutic expertise/experience in one or more key therapy areas (Oncology, Neurology and Immunology, Fertility, Cardio-metabolic and Endocrinology)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex processes, project management and project leadership skills
  • Experience in managing portfolios of projects simultaneously, cross-functionally and in an international setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language)
