About the roleAs the Associate Director - Original Content Development, you will develop & execute original show concepts for Flipkart Video. These could include interactive gaming video formats, factual / interactive quiz programming, talent shows and branded content. You will be part of Flipkart Video s early leadership team working in a highly entrepreneurial and agile startup environment and will be expected to constantly innovate, execute, learn and iterate at a very rapid pace. You will dwell on your understanding of TV show formats, gaming, original IPs, concept development & brand solutions to drive viewership growth for Flipkart Video. You ll work very closely with and in a collaborative fashion with other teams at Flipkart such as product & technology, operations, marketing as well as external agencies and creative consultants. What you ll do:

• Generate story ideas and concepts for new interactive shows and IPs under the Flipkart Video Originals umbrella and ensure there is a constant pipeline of both scripted & unscripted programming
• Work with the leadership team to create an original content strategy that ties directly to the overall business strategy, with clear content objectives and success measures
• Partner with internal teams like Product, Content, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Legal for content delivery
• Identify, research and develop original programming content for Flipkart Video, including series, specials and studio shows that will drive audience viewership
• Help storyboard show concepts and articulate this vision to Creative Directors, Production Companies / Studios & Flipkart Video business & product teams
• Develop and maintain an evolving slate of scripted & unscripted programming & formats
• Inspire and elevate storytelling solutions & branded content engagements through partnerships with internal Flipkart category teams and external brands

What you ll need:Key Qualifications

• 10+ years in delivering amazing content & Original IPs for a Television Channel, Video OTT or Branded Content Agency
• Outstanding storytelling and creative development abilities. Needs to be able to identify unique voices, breakout ideas, and high potential IP
• Detailed understanding of the television production process and the ability to manage and problem-solve shows in production and bring them in on budget and on schedule
• Tech forward with the ability to translate content vision into actionable product interface
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work well in a team environment
• Good Undergraduate College Degree, Film & Video Production Qualification a plus
• Experience in both scripted and unscripted projects
• Strong relationships with key players in the industry
• Proven knowledge of television, publishing, audio, music, digital, and pop culture trends
• Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with high volume workload
• Entrepreneurial. Experience of having worked in a hyper growth, fast paced, often ambiguous environment as a Founder or Builder

• Experience managing, negotiating, and collaborating with outside creative agencies, partners and third-party vendors
• High Bias For Action - Flipkart works at a very rapid pace
• Ability to influence audiences at all levels and work effectively across functions. Ability to build bridges with peers and organizations beyond your own
• Inventive self starter who indexes high on ideation & creativity
