Job Description

Strategy Senior Associate for the Firm-wide Business Workforce Strategy team (FBWS). The position will play a key role in driving the FBWS program a top strategic priority for the firm - across multiple lines of businesses in locations globally. The program is focused on optimizing our work-force in strategic global locations, including consolidating into world-class corporate centers of excellence that enhance our client support, employee satisfaction, productivity and controls, while optimizing operating costs.The FBWS team, specifically, has the following key responsibilities:

  • Workforce Strategy & Advisory - advocating, leading, developing, and reporting the execution of the firm-wide workforce strategy program across all lines of business and functions in 300+ global locations
  • Location Leader Program Analyzing and identifying multi-year location seat demand and seat supply across the firm its global implications
  • Program Management - Drive the program to enable execution. Communicate with stakeholders across the firm to ensure accountability, alignment and transparency
  • Workplace Advisory Advising workplace best practices to maximize productivity
This individual will:
  • Serve as the primary contact in the team for Labor Market Assessment and Analytics.
  • Market research for labor and location analytics
  • Preparing and presenting location value proposition to senior business leaders, including location leaders
  • Advisor to senior business managers to solution for location and workforce plans
  • Assist with projects, particularly as it relates to reporting and executive presentations
  • Provide communication to internal audiences which could include financial, operational and sensitive data
  • Support the team with accountability for financial and quasi-financial data, tools and reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of complex reports and performance and production analysis
  • Have direct and regular contact with Senior Management
Key responsibilities:
  • Delivery Standards & Assurance Identification, creation and development of standards, tools, process and culture to ensure best in class approach to the delivery of change, from inception to implementation into production. The successful individual will assure that processes are working effectively and efficiently to effect improvement across all aspects of delivery and develop improvement plans if they are not.
  • Governance Facilitate governance/ key programme level meetings and meet the relevant information demands for those. Ensure decisions are made within governance and identified
  • Management Information and Reporting Coordinate the streamlined collation of information about the health of Hubs/projects and provide a single source of Management Information, reporting and metrics to the programme as required which is tailored to each level of governance reporting (ensuring exceptions and/or areas of concern are reported to senior management). Maintain the programme reporting calendar to support programme governance.
  • Communication & Stakeholder management Provide a communications hub for the programme which supports programme standards and internal programme communications. The successful individual will be comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels across the firm and will be responsible for maintaining a stakeholder and communications plan.
  • Support for Ad-hoc Programme deliverables Coordinate the collection and presentation of information to meet Programme Ad-hoc requests and processes ensuring they are completed on time and with quality
QualificationsSkills/experience required
  • MBA or an advanced degree from a top-tier program is preferable
  • Strong in business storytelling and presentations
  • Market research background preferred
  • 4+years of experience within complex programmes in global financial institutions.
  • Exceptional experience and proven track record in stakeholder management, partnership (enabling a one team culture and positive working environment) and complex programme governance across multiple locations.
  • Proven and demonstrable critical thinking across business/technology vision, solutions, strategy, roadmaps and portfolio delivery.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels, including ability to communicate effectively with Senior Executives.
