Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Brand/Design: Understanding the Brand DNA and expectation of designer for every season.
  • Planning & Strategic: Understand Action calendar [Line assortment]. Size spec/Fit/Gold seal approvals.
  • Knowledge & Technical skills: Basic Women body shapes, measurements and grades, Patterns and construction and understand the design needs and Manage fit approval time line [RFT] .
  • Risk Assessment: Tech pack study and maintain hygiene and ownership of Sharing Right Size spec and Tech pack to Vendors [Incl COE].
  • Reporting: Forecast Proto /pp/Dexter update/ Size spec in session and weekly. Approval and pending report on weekly basis to team lead. [like banking]. Sample rejection data with relevant digitals preventive/Corrective measures. Update Weekly meeting report summary with sourcing /Fit techs. Leaves should be pre informed and approved in one log in unless emergency, non-approved leaves to be updated immediately after return back from leaves.
KPI Reporting on weekly basis with Line manager /Dept lead 1, Operations; A] Right 1st time [team goal above 90% for Size spec /proto /pp] [Monitor Proto and PP sample review and rejection rate with root cause analysis ] B] Time line management of samples[3days from sample receipt] [review buy plan in the weekly meeting and prepare sample approval data ] C] Maintain Master data sheet of sample approval tracker with pendency . [1,Design /fit change , 2, Spec related issue/Pattern related issues 3, Workmanship/out of tolerance ] 2, Fit integrity & quality A]Block Matrix with Vendor and Category level and plan checks] B] Comments in the Fit review sheet to have relevant pictures andPrecise comments for easy understanding of our Vendors &QA . 3, Customer return & Hq ; Aware CR and HQ . 4, Maintain inventory health check; PCR not more than single digit on any given day 5, Follow the guidelines/instructions of the line manager from time to time.Establish the connect with Sourcing/Brand/Design /QA/Fit/Factory team lead and members. Participate weekly meetingwith stake holders and understand Buy plan for work load clarityQualifications & Experience
  • 2- 4 years of proven work experience in Sourcing Product Development.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant category.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
  • Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Degree in garment textiles is good to have.
