Job Title:Associate Project Manager

  • Project Manager with experience in supply chain consulting such as SAP APO or SAP IBP ROLE Associate Project ManagerROLE DESCRIPTIONThis individual will have complete accountability for project executionManaging the scope and statement of workManaging the client relationship for the projectAll approvals related to the projectFacilitating the requirements and design sessionsManaging the project executionProcess and Requirements definition and sign offFunctional Design documentation and signed offProject Planning and ManagementDevelop project plan in MS ProjectPeriodic status reporting of the project statusResponsible for User Acceptance and Sign offManaging billing activities, includingCompletion and followup of Timesheets and expensesContinuous development of internal operating efficiencies, tools, repeatable methodologiesDevelop domain expertise and understanding of industry best practicesAdherence to internal processes and customer specific project methodologiesCompliance with Knowledge Management processesFollow onsite and offsite methodologies and contribute to continuous enhancement of processesManage team members reporting on the projectPrepare statement of worksBuild relationship with various customer interface pointsAchieve the customer satisfaction and get the customer feedback on the projectMaintain the morale of the team at all timesMultiskilled across applications, technologies, functions, modulesSubstantial full cycle project implementation experienceFamiliar with ASAP methodology and Solution ManagerADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate the billing plan for every month for the project and monitor it against the target and planMonitor and Manage risksKnowledge of Quality processesCapability to manage mixed technologypractice projectsCapable to provide an end to end solution in one or the Functional and Technical modulesQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE8 plus years experience IN Project ManagementAt least 1 end to end implementations experience including Rollouts Minimum of bachelors degree Business, Engineering or Computer SciencePMI certificationCertification in CPIM or CSCP or in technical focus areaTECHNICAL EXPERTISETechno Commercial knowledge Indepth understanding of SDLC project or SAP or Oracle ProjectUnderstanding of relevant business processes in Supply Chain and AnalyticsUnderstanding of relevant Modules and its integration with another moduleKnowledge of current technologyHaving experience in Auto, Engineering, Discrete, Pharma, CPG, Retail, Oil and Gas, Hitech, SemiconductorExperience in Supply Chain, logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning and DistributionEmerging domain knowledge competenciesSOFT SKILLSExcellent communication skills, verbal as well as writtenPositive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environmentAbility to drive project responsibilities in a dynamic and proactive mannerAbility to showcase three Mahindra RISE Pillars e.g. Accepting No Limits, Driving Positive Change and Alternative Thinking
Information Security Responsibilities:Understand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedure, practice them for protection of organizational data and Information System. Take part in information security training and act while handling information. Report all suspected security and policy breach to Infosec team or appropriate authority(CISO).
