Job Description

  • To execute sensory activities evaluation and reporting, associated with development of products in Nutritional Food segment.
  • Accountable for product development guidance for flavor optimization, product testing (likeability, discrimination); statistical data analysis and documentation - sensory scope, questionnaire, report preparation.
  • Document work, complete assignments in product lifecycle management system and implement methodologies, SOP s created by Sensory COE.
  • Be involved in product development and execute laboratory bench trials for nutritional food products on need basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to provide sensory guidance and direction to deliver optimized flavor profiles in a variety of finished product applications.
  • Provide guidance on likeability/taste profile for product development and coordinate regional testing with large no. of panelists.
  • Work effectively with various locations, stakeholders to expedite SOPs, best practices in sensory methods.
  • Manage Sensory laboratory, testing booth and materials/equipment required for sensory evaluations.
  • Support formulation development Bench trials & raw material management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
  • Bachelors / Master s in food technology
WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 6+ years in Food Product Sensory Evaluation
TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL SKILL:
  • Sensory panel development (Technical & Consumer)
