The candidate will be a part of the Cell Engineering team working on generating stable cell lines to be used as tools or for production purposes. He or she will be in a fast-paced work environment that offers a great opportunity to learn and grow.Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of DNA sequences in software like vector NTI, SEQ builder, Sequencher.
  • ound knowledge in solving V-gene analysis for large molecules. Familiarity with process in antibody discovery.
  • Thinks in regards to options when identifying solutions, develops new approaches to improve or replace existing procedures or systems, generates alternatives prior to settling on a solution.
  • Understands the importance of teamwork (right attitude), follows strict protocol, good lab practices, and understands the importance of data integrity.
Educational Qualification: M.SC/M-Tech/Masters in Biology, Biotechnology or any life science fieldTechnical/functional Skills:
  • Well versed in molecular biology techniques such as recombinant cloning (gateway cloning/ In-Fusion Coning/ Golden gate cloning/Gibson Assembly/TA cloning/ Topo cloning) DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, cDNA synthesis, gene synthesis, site-directed mutagenesis, qPCR. Have to have experience in DNA scale-up techniques.
  • Added benefit Conceptual planning and also the construction of expression vectors for enhanced protein production mammalian and also bacterial systems. Experience in microbial protein purification is a added advantage.
  • Another added advantage is recombinant protein expression in transient and stable mammalian hosts such as HEK293 and CHO.
  • Quickly understands what brand-new tasks/jobs required, quickly understands and utilizes procedures, technologies and ideas that are constantly being upgraded, comprehends operations.
  • Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene
  • Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace
  • Wearing all PPE as required.
  • Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene s data integrity policies

Experience:
  • 6-9 years relevant work experience if the candidate has post graduate education

  • General ability to thrive in a growing infrastructure and culture and think out of box approach when troubleshooting and problem solving.
