Job Description

Title: Assistant Accounting Manager - Warranty, Product Performance Liability and COGS (Product and Install)Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for an Asst. Accounting Manager to join its world class team in BANGALORE. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today s most exciting technologiesLocation: This position will be based in Bangalore, IndiaRole and Responsibilities:

  • Manage month end entries for warranty, reserves, COGS, and manufacturing operations for multiple entities
  • Prepare and analyze month end results in Balance Sheet and Income Statement fluctuation analysis worldwide
  • Support accounting team with implementing and documenting accounting and IT internal controls
  • Perform technical accounting analysis and document accounting memos as needed
  • Work with IT to improve processes and own changes as needed to respond to changes in the business
Skills and Experience:
  • 4+ years financial experience; focus on accounting close and consolidation process, financial report preparation and internal controls; mix of public accounting & private industry experience preferred
  • Master s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, CA a plus
  • Individual must be highly motivated self-starter and team player
  • Strong organizational and work planning skills; high attention to detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with multidisciplinary departments and teams of professionals within the organization to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required
  • Proficient in Oracle 12 and consolidations functionality
  • Proficient with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize projects
