Job Description

At IBM, you will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAre you ambitious in driving front end development for one of the largest next Generation Self driving network in the world Do you love working with cutting edge technologies such as React, Redux, Bootstrap, Node.js etc. Does distributed systems that process billions of transactions per day excite you Do you love microservices, distributed systems, possess skills in networking If answer is Yes, then we have a role for you. We are looking for ambitious Automation Development and Testing Developer for IBM Next Generation Self Driving Network (one of the largest in the industry).

  • Write programs that test and stress cloud services
  • Verify software behavior for end-users
  • Have an interest in, understanding of, or experience with Design Thinking Methodology
  • Have an interest in, understanding of, or experience with Agile development methodology
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 1-3 years of experience in Java, Ruby, Python, additional programming languages
  • Understanding of basic network concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, LDAP, DHCP, and Routing/Switching
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Knowledge of one of the programming languages (Python/Go/Java etc.)
  • Any of the Rest API Frameworks (Django, Flask, Gin, Jersey etc.)
  • One of the SQL Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.)
  • Any of the No-SQL databases (MongoDB, Kafka etc.)
  • Experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker for CI/CD etc.
  • Experience with microservice orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Openshift, HashiCorp Nomad)
