Job Description

What Youll DoThis is an excellent opportunity to join Cloud and Compute Product Group in Cisco Systems that is passionate about building next generation Compute and Storage Products (Cisco UCS, Hyper Flex) with innovative cloud-based system management application. You will be responsible for driving quality in these products through automation testing.Who Youll Work WithYou will be part of an experienced team working on next generation Data Center products.   • Automation Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in validation of data center infrastructure products (switching, servers and storage) and data center management applications.
  • Strong technical expertise in one of the following skills and working knowledge on the others.
  • L2/L3 layers of Networking.
  • Storage Local Storage, FC/FCoE & Hyper Converged
  • Expertise in system testing with various data center solutions and customer deployments along with Datacenter Management applications.
  • Experience in virtualization/VDI technology VMWare/Hyper-V/KVM.
  • Strong expertise in automation with PERL/Python/TCL for GUI / API /CLI interfaces of management tools
  • Strong Knowledge in XML, JSON, REST API/WSDL
  • Passion for coding and can do attitude towards any complex tasks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Bachelors or a Master s Degree in CS/IT/CE/EE required.
Responsibilities:
  • You will work on validation of industry leading Cisco UCS and Cisco HX Hyper Converged Storage products.
  • You will work on validation of Cisco Intersight, a cloud-based systems management platform for Cisco UCS and Hyper Flex.
  • Define test strategy, write test plans, automate and execute tests for next generation products and platforms.
  • Understanding customer use cases, and setting up customer topology in Cisco labs and execute deployment and workflow scenarios. Involve in Customer cases as required.
