The Lead Test Automation Engineer duties include:Understanding functional aspect of client applications, defining strategies and creating test scripts for testingConverting scripts into Test Automation Suite using appropriate technologyFinding solutions for automation problems encountered during this processRequires proficiency in one or more programming languages (like Python)Exceptional accuracy and mathematical aptitudeExcellent time management skillsA commitment to skills development to continue providing up-to-date solutionsPerform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervisionInteract professionally with other employees, customers, and providersWork effectively as a team contributor on all assignmentsWork independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees, teams, and departmentsEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Defining test strategies and test plans for various client applicationsDesigning and developing test automation scriptsPractice test automation standard and guidelinesResearching issues in software through testingCollaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop testing solutionsKeeping updated with the latest industry developmentsDocument all test results and incidents by tracking a bug till closureCommunicating with respective stakeholders throughout the test life cycle with proper status reports, documents etcConfigure necessary hardware and environment for deployment scenario testingVery good analytical skills for interpreting test resultsMust have:Automation Testing on Mainframe setup and Web applications across different platformsProgramming languages such as Java, C# and Python or similarAutomation Tools - Selenium, UFT, RFT or similarWeb Service Testing using any tool like SOAPUI, Postman, Rapise, JMeter or similarALM, Defect Tracking, Test Management Tools - any popularAutomation Framework knowledgeExcellent mathematical and problem-solving skillsHighly accurate and detail-orientedAdded Advantages: (Good to have any TWO or MORE of the skills below):Insurance and Healthcare domainETL Testing using any popular toolKnowledge of COBOLAgile Testing and DevOps,
