Job Description

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products to deliver exceptional experiences to customers. Your responsibilities include:- Being accountable for various dimensions of testing (functional/non-functional) to maintain high-quality standards.- Working closely with the software development team to define, document, analyze, perform, and automate tests for products.- Identifying functional/non-functional issues and devising innovative solutions through test automation.- Adhering to best QA Automation practices to enhance product quality continuously.- Establishing reliability to enable and validate high-quality releases at a rapid pace.- Creating and executing automation scripts across multiple platforms such as Desktop, Mobile-Web, and iOS and Android apps.- Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop effective solutions.- Demonstrating experience with Agile Scrum processes.Desired Skills:- Strong technical background, attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.- Proficiency in coding with knowledge of OOD/OOP principles.- 2-5 years of experience in test automation of Web/Mobile applications.- Exposure to distributed systems or web/mobile applications.- Understanding of various testing cycles and release activities.- Familiarity with functional tools and frameworks like Page Object Model and Functional Object Model.- Working knowledge of performance testing and API testing tools such as JMeter, Postman, and Rest-assured.- Experience in setting up test automation as part of CI/CD pipelines.- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Java.- Strong expertise in Selenium, Appium, and Rest-assured.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.- Previous experience as a test automation engineer, preferably with at least 2 years as an SDET.- Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.- Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
