• This hand on role will offer the candidate an excellent opportunity to further develop their career in a financial institution across all asset classes in Standard Chartered.
• As an experienced development lead your mission is to help lead our team of technologists towards creating next level solution that improve our business. Your hands-on experience and knowledge in system design, application development, testing and operational stability will help our team deliver high quality products.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Extensive hands on experience with automation tools and frameworks like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, Bladelogic and Operations Orchestrator
• The person will be responsible to handle API s to harness automation capabilities offered by the automation tools
• Leads and runs automation related projects from originations from requirement to delivery in conjunction with the service manager
• Identifying new areas for automation and process enhancements in IT operations
• Coordinating with internal cross functional team and delivery
• New capability creations and drive till development and business integration

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in one more automation tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, Bladelogic and Operations Orchestrator
• 5+ years of experience working on Linux and windows administration / operations
• 3+ year of experience managing configuration management in platform (Windows / Unix) using standard tools
• Experience in writing automation frameworks and management
• Knowledge and experience in orchestration engines and automation workflows

Technical skills requiredMandatory skills:

• 5+ years experience in one more automation tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, Bladelogic and Operations Orchestrator
• 5+ years experience with one of more database technologies like Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL, Mongodb
• 2+ years experience in Shell scripting and one or more programming languages like Java, python, ruby, C++, Perl, GO
• Candidate shall have strong skills in technologies/process involved during provisioning and patching of various Operating Systems and running compliance on different operating systems at large scale.
• Experience in developing framework that help developers increase release velocity, improve code and technical standards
• Architect proposed solution.
• Planning of solution deployment on all phases
• Knowledge of UNIX and Windows Operating Systems
• Candidate shall have working knowledge of DNS, NFS, RBAC, SAMBA, FTP Servers.
• Worked in Remedy or ServiceNow, Agile, Jira

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge in one of more database technologies like Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL, Mongodb
• ITIL Certified
• Knowledge on Puppet, Ansible and other tools involved in agile environment.

• Strong organizational / project management skills with ability to manage numerous deliverables in a timely and effective manner
