Job Description

Security Technology Services (STS) is a critical function within Standard Chartered Bank operating under the overall purview of Technology Services .The STS team is made up of cyber security thought leaders, who are accountable for the provision of a global set of cyber security services and products to maintain and continuously improve Bank s cyber security posture in today s ever evolving cyber security landscape.Security Production Support within STS, is a transversal service with a primary objective to provide Production Support Services (PSS) and managing production estate for all STS owned products and services. The Security Production Estate Management function, part of SPS, requires an experienced leader to setup,run and govern the mandatory controls pre-defined, which includes managing asset management, obsolescence management, capacity management, efficiency through driving service improvements through automation and other all recurring/one-time platform/infrastructure initiatives including reduction of the physical server foot print, firewall recertification and represent STS across all TS initiativesRESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership and Run, Govern the support operating model within STS by setting the direction, guidelines for estate management for STSCustodian of information related to application platform attribute in STS estateDefine production estate management metrics and framework for regular monitoring and reportingDefine and review minimum people capabilities and skill matrix required for executing the estate management operating procedureDefine and drive service improvement deliverables through automation for SPS and reusability for wider groups with in STSManage/Maintain the technical stack of all on-premises hosted applications in CMDB with 100% accuracyEnsure IT Assets of STS are appropriately recorded and recertified; This includes maintaining list of security services, service and support ownership, assets servers, software and relationship with upstream and downstream systemsFollow wider technology standards are ensure the same is periodically reviewed, reported and governed across all on-prem applications in STSManage obsolescence (track, record, assess impact and report) across all platforms supporting STSProvide technical support during any major incidents with in STSProactive review of production platform related risks or non-compliances like resiliency, capacity, obsolescence, event monitoring and reporting controls, and ensure full risks awareness is in placeTake part in on-boarding newer capabilities/products into production support by reviewing all non-functional requirements, service validation and ensuring compliance to technology delivery assuranceConduct Production service level reviews with all key stakeholders with STSContribute in Security product roadmap and wider TS strategyEngage with other transversal technology services teams like data centre, database and platform support, ensuring there is adequate awareness of security tools, products and services, its significance to the security ecosystem for the bankEstablish and Govern all service reviews with suppliers/vendors providing support services for STSAdoption of DevOps and industry standards and practices for Security Production supportKEY STAKEHOLDERS:Services Domain Heads within Security Technology ServicesSupport Leads with in Security Production SupportOther relevant functions with Technology Services including Infrastructure Services (database, network, servers), In-Countrt Technology teams and End user servicesCOMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS):Have minimum technical and functional knowledge of the security products, tools and services/capabilitiesHave good understanding of ITIL practices and ITSM toolsHas excellent track record in running complex platform support environment (either database, network, data centre)Has good understanding into infrastructure components including databases (Oracle, SQL), network, data centre, firewall, proxy, Operating System (Windows and LINUX)System administrative skillsHas good understanding of CMDB Configuration Management DatabaseHave independently led and governed the on-boarding controls (non-functional) prior to operationalising the system or managing proceed to operate for non- functional controlsHas performed Production tasks within the SDF/SDLC processHas supported Change Management and Incident Management functionsHighly motivated, results-driven, and able to multi-taskExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work well with cross-organizational teamsStrong analytical and quantitative skillStrong leader, who inspires and cultivates strong partnership with clients and internal partnersStrong managerial, influencing and negotiation skillsAbility to develop strategies aligning with business goalsExperience with enterprise data centre design, DevOps, and Cloud ComputingStrong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation s goal.
