Job Description

Credit Platform Services-Document Validation AssociateThe Credit Platform Services Document Validation team is being created to centralize set up activities for Credit facilities. This team will perform comprehensive reviews of incoming client executed loan documents to validate completeness and accuracy, confirm alignment of credit terms and conditions between documents and credit approval as well as eliminate administrative and manual tasks currently performed by the Lending Solutions front office team and Securities Based Lenders. Additionally, the review will provide complete packages for loan set-up/booking to streamline and shorten the loan set-up process. The Document Validation analyst will be expected to work closely with internal partners- Key stakeholders will be Securities Based Lenders and Analysts, Lending Solutions Specialists, Credit Risk Executives and Underwriters as well as various Operational teams within the lending process. Strong relationships with these teams as well as knowledge in credit policy, operational process and legal documents will be critical to the success of this role.Responsibilities for the Portfolio Management Analyst include:

    • Core functions include:
      • Delivery of digital loan documents via DocuSign
      • Receipt and confirmation of complete executed document package post client execution
      • Comparison and validation of legal documents terms and conditions to credit approval
      • Identification of material changes and facilitation of review and re-approval of key credit terms as required
      • Obtaining credit approval for exception processing (missing documents, funding, etc.)
      • Identify and facilitate authorities and regulatory (FinCEN) updates as required
      • Create workflow cases for Wholesale Lending Partners post comprehensive review and document validation activities
Additional core responsibilities include:
  • Regulatory reporting updates for CCAR dates post loan set up
  • Unilateral notice mailing and tracking activities
  • Identification of trends specific to market, individuals or process and recommendation of training or process updates
  • Participate in strategic initiatives including Loan Doc Platform integration to streamline DocuSign and WLS activities
  • Signature Validation processes to confirm valid client signatures
  • Ensure consistent global use of key data elements Reg U form and execution, Reg Z minimum amounts, specific Operational flags and RRC codes associated with evergreen and purpose credits
  • Engage in relevant global consistency initiatives
Partnership Teams
  • Develop and enhance partnership relationships between the Lending Solutions, Securities Based Lending, Underwriters, Credit Risk Analysts, Client Services, Collateral, Covenants, and Closing functions and between Wholesale Lending Services, Global Trade Services and other JPMC product and service groups who support Asset Wealth Management clients.
Qualifications
  • Legal documentation knowledge-ability to read and understand legal terms and conditions
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral, written and presentation
  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritize work and demands throughout the day
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to interact with varying levels of management throughout the organization
  • Ability to represent AWM in all working groups that involve decision making on behalf of the business
  • Minimum B.A., B.S. and 10 years of experience in relevant field
    • Credit concepts, policy/regulatory framework, loan and derivative products
  • Credit Risk Infrastructure, tools and processes a plus (ARC, EN, SRGT, CRRT, OWL, SELM, etc.)
  • Strong technical skills Excel, data mining and management, Microsoft office
  • Transformation skills a plus-Signavio, Alteryx, Xceptor
