Job Description

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management, is a global leader in investment and wealth management. The division offers investment management across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, multi-asset and money market funds. For individual investors, the business also provides retirement products and services, brokerage and banking services including trusts and estates, loans, mortgages and deposits. Roles & Responsibilities /Objectives The prime responsibility of the Account Transition Team would be to transfer assets Internally or Externally as per the request from CSS. ATT has to interact with different teams to get the securities transferred. Job responsibility to ensure the team delivers the below by monitoring and providing guidance and direction

  • Processing of incoming funds, outgoing Client Payments and Bank to bank transactions.
  • Releasing and monitoring of swift messages
  • Execution and Management of setting up of Standing Order instructions.
  • Book keeping tickets and internal transfers.
  • Monitor SEPA Incoming funds for Paris region
  • Ensure adherence of operational procedures to complete task in an accurate and timely manner.
  • An acute awareness of the high risk, time critical and complex nature of the Private Banking environment, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.

  • Document procedures and identify requirements for additional controls.Transferring of Securities internally or externally, including internal/external funds
  • To book securities coming from other custodian in to the clients account.
  • To make sure that the client does not have any credit exposure before transferring securities or cash.
  • To make sure all approvals are obtained before transferring any Securities, Fund or Cash.
  • Coordinates day-to-day execution of the process
  • Identifying and implementing changes to the process
  • Identifying exceptions and deviations, as well as management of these situations
  • Communicating new and changed policies
  • Ensuring the standards and procedures are being followed
  • Facilitating resource commitment and allocation
  • Creating, analyzing and distributing process reports
  • communicate with clients, service providers, and management
  • resolution of issues with items not complying with the process
  • escalation path when needed, as defined in the escalation policy
  • Establishment of measurements and targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
