Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an AWS Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure. You will be using public cloud platforms - AWS to build solutions solving business problems and making innovative use of SaaS and PaaS offerings. • Understand whole solution architecture concepts and can communicate and negotiate designs with customer architects.
• Expertise in Cloud Governance and compliance.
• Conceptualize solutions and develop architecture for large AWS engagements
• Familiarity with data center concepts and best practices, high - availability systems, capacity planning, system performance evaluation, and diagnostic techniques and methodologies.
• Develop automation scripts (using Python / Python / Shell / Power shell/ VB scripts) and batch files for automation of system and application administration on cloud.
• Proactively maintain and develop all AWS infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
• Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
• Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
• Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
• Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
• Approve vendor level escalations and assist the L3 or L2 Engineers with incident resolution and closure.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT Industry
• Validated understanding about available AWS services e.g. EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, RDS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Front, PaaS Database etc.
• Proficient in Security and monitoring tools
• Hands-on experience in DevOps technologies and Knowledge about APIs to architect cloud ready applications.
• Expertise in utilizing the latest migration approaches and technologies including the containerization of services.
• Proficient to develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services
• Experience of Service management and ticketing tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• AWS Certifications Professional
• Knowledge of common operating systems (Linux / Windows), networking etc.
• In depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS etc. along with Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage
• Proven problem solving and communication skills
• You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
