Job Description TITLE: Axapta Developer (Microsoft AX)REPORTING TO: Project ManagerWORKING LOCATION: BangaloreOVERALL OBJECTIVES:Dynamics AX Developer will be responsible for managing all technical aspects during the full lifecycle of a Dynamics AX implementation. This includes solution engineering, project estimation, business requirement analysis, technical design and On- going activities related to build and deployment phases of the project.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Act as a visionary and strategist for technical challenges within the target solutions required by business;2. Work closely with the functional team to develop the requirements for customizing Dynamics AX and to finish the task within the given time period.3. Works closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all deadlines related to technical aspects of the Dynamics AX implementation are either met or exceeded.4. Support DevelopersFunctionalBusiness as questions or issues arise.5. Communicate development guidelines to development resources.6. Monitor development activities to ensure development guidelines provided by the architects council are being followed.7. Promote development objects during build and test activities using XPOs, models and model Stores.8. Build preparation for Release process.9. Engage the project team and end- users to architect and develop Microsoft Dynamics AX gap/fit solutions.10. Support or execute data migrations activities in Dynamics AX 2012 environment using the Microsoft Data Migration Framework or other technologies.OTHER ASSIGNMENTS:1. Ensure follow- up to his/her Manager on a regular basis and as often as requested;2. Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.REQUIRED PROFILE: Educational Background: BE Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor s degree with the relevant experience.Experience: At least 1 full life cycle implementation of Dynamics AX implementation that includes analysis of the as- is process and design of the system based on the to- be process.Over 2 to 3 years of proven expertise customizing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.Over 2 to 3 year of experience in troubleshooting Dynamics AX.Proven project experience modifying or creating new reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.Proven project knowledge with AIF and/or system integration modules & patterns.Over 2 to 3 years of technical experience with AX or other ERP software on similar position.Technical Skills: Mandatory Very good Technical development knowledge and experience with MorphX, X , Workflow, AIF, SSRS, .NET, MSSQL Server.Good understanding and knowledge of Dynamics AX 2012 Architecture (layers, models, tiers, etc.).Very good knowledge of Dynamics AX 2012 data model, data structures, business logic (classes) and Ax2012 frameworks.Experience in customization of finance, trade and logistics and either production or project accounting within Dynamics AX 2012.Experience and knowledge of AX 2012 Release Build processes, tools & technics.Good understanding of restful services and implementation of web services in AX for supporting integration between applications is a big plus.MS Dynamics AX 2012 development certification is a big plus.One or more functional certifications within Dynamics AX is a big plus .Personal Qualities: Very good English communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing);Structured and clear writing skills;Very good interpersonal relation skills at all levels of the organization;Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.Great communication skills.Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.Travel: Travels to Eurofins facilities mainly located in Europe are required. Percentage of working time of approximately 20- 25%.,
